Illegal immigration is an issue that Italy has been struggling with for far, far too long now. An issue that must be answered at the European level, with the cooperation and mutual aid of all member countries. It is no longer acceptable that there are people who die at sea or who, at the end of a long and exhausting crossing, find themselves at an "invisible" life made of hardship and filled with economic, social and civil dangers that lead to "modern slavery."
