The migration challenge to Europe
17 January 2023 @ 18:00 - 19:30
The mass immigration sweeping Europe is a continental challenge that requires a common response. How can Italy and Hungary - two countries on the border of the EU - find shared solutions to the issue?
Panelists from the two countries will debate: Francesco Giubilei, president of Future Nation; Lőrinc Nacsa, MP and deputy Parliamentary Group Leader; Daniele Scalea, President of the Machiavelli Center; Péter Törcsi, Operations Director of the Center for Fundamental Rights.
The event is co-organized by the Center for Fundamental Rights, the Machiavelli Center for Political and Strategic Studies, Future Nation, and will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Palazzo Falconieri, Via Giulia 1, Rome. The working language is English. Registration appreciated (click to fill out the form).
The meeting will take place following the first Italian-Hungarian Conservative Conference, a closed-door event that will bring together leaders of various research centers, think tanks and NGOs from the two countries.
