Attempts by progressives and their water-carrying intellectuals to stem the advance of populist instances (which represent majority and growing slices of the people) are indicative of a deep-seated hatred of democracy: according to them, one should vote only if one agrees with their faction.
Populism is the scourge of the European technocracy because it bases itself on people's legitimacy. Its opponents even prefer to restrict the voters' right to choose in order to prevent the people from being able to freely express themselves on such fundamental issues as the family, the economy, war and peace.

Oggi le principali minacce alla nostra libertà vengono dall'ideologia mondialista e politicamente corretta, figlie dell'Illuminismo iper-razionalista e astratto, e proprio nell'ambito delle istituzioni liberali, nate e cresciute negli Stati nazionali, le nostre libertà possono essere maggiormente protette e promosse.
Il sovranismo deve riconsegnare nelle mani dei cittadini l'esclusività del potere legislativo. In tema d'Europa, non si tratta di perdersi nella diatriba europeismo-euroscetticismo, ma fare in modo che ogni istituzione europea sia trasparente e controllabile democraticamente
